Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.

- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.

Sam's New Friend
Sam was feeling a little down. He wanted to have a new pal to play with. One day, while he was playing in the park, he saw something unusual. It was a little being with glowing feathers. Sam slowly walked over to the creature and said, "Hello! What's your identity?" The creature laughed and told Sam, "You can call me Lily!" And so, Sam made a new companion. They spent the rest of the day playing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be best friends forever.
